  • Bluegrass songs are our focus but other styles are permitted.

  After investigating the area we realized the location we previously chose for our campout is state trust land and not BLM land. Due to the state 6-9 months to get a permit for more than 20 people we have made some changes. We are still going to go ahead with the campout. It will now be Dec 29, 2025 - Jan 2, 2026. State trust land requires that everyone needs to have a permit to use camp or visit the land.

  We are going to get a small (20) group permit and need to have the names of those to apply for the permit. This is good for the whole week whether camping one night or more. We are going to charge $10 per person for this to help ensure those who register show up. These may fill up fast. You can also participate if you have your own state trust permit which costs only $15 per person or $20 for a family and is available instantly online.

  You do not need to register for the ABA Event here if you decide to purchase your own state trust permit but it would be nice to get an idea how many are coming so please do. State permits are good for one year from the date of application, on all state land not otherwise posted.
