Workshop Schedule Tues-Thurs Feb 2-4 Noon – 2 pm each day Beginner Bluegrass Workshop Whether you've never played bluegrass before or you're just getting started, this workshop is the perfect place to learn. Starting with the basics of bluegrass rhythm, jam etiquette, common song structures, and simple techniques in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Bring your acoustic instrument, meet other beginners, and discover the fun of making music together. No prior bluegrass experience is required! Instructor – Billy Parker Billy is one of Arizona’s most well-known and diverse mandolin players. A freelance artist, he is adept at Bluegrass, Western Swing, Jazz, Celtic, and Americana and moves fluidly across genres with exceptional creativity. With a lifetime of experience, Parker has shared the stage with music legends Bill Monroe, Blaine Sprouse, Faron Young and Nils Lofgren and has performed extensively in Montana, Oregon, and now Arizona as well as across the US and abroad. A former member of Southern California’s Lost Highway, Montana's Finley Creek, and Oregon’s The Wallys to name a few, Billy, who now makes his home in Chandler, AZ Saturday Feb 6 Noon
