Band Scramble

The Band Scramble is a fun way to meet other pickers, make some music, and perform on the festival stage! Each instrumentalist or singer will write their name on a slip of paper and place it in the container designated for their instrument or vocals. Bands will be formed through a random drawing, selecting one participant from each container until a complete band is assembled.

Once the bands are formed, they will have a little more than one hour to:

• Choose a band name
• Get acquainted and rehearse
• Select up to three songs to perform
• Each band may perform up to three songs or play for 15 minutes—whichever comes first.
• Performances will use a single-microphone setup.
• Come join the fun, meet some new musicians, and take your turn onstage!
