ABA Barn Dance If you want to learn how to dance, get your feet moving and your heart beating, you will want to take in the ABA Barn Dance, Saturday, February 6, 2027, at the ABA Bluegrass Roundup. The dance starts at 7pm in the new barn at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds. Festival attendees get in free but if you come just for the dance, it’s $10 at the gate, Saturday attendees and weekend ticket holders are free. Free parking. Bring a chair and your favorite beverage and join us for a hopping time. |
Grace Rolland, Caller Grace is Vocalist, Cellist, and Traditional Dance Caller. Founding member the acclaimed Arizona based bluegrass and americana band, Run Boy Run. Grace has a long history of instructing and calling dances at folk events, old time and square dances for both beginners and seasoned dancers. She teaches vocal classes and coordinates folk ensembles at the annual Rolland family fiddle cam | Live Band Music provided by Pick & Holler, a spirited, fiddle driven, old time string band, based in Phoenix AZ. They play traditional Appalachian fiddle and banjo tunes, featuring Carolyn Camp on fiddle and Matt Minjares on banjo. Lindsay Cates on the upright bass and Mike Wolfe on guitar. Everyone pitches in on the hollerin’. Playing at square dances, fairs, festivals, barn dances, and boxcars, the strive to keep toes tapping and faces smiling. |
