Even among the pantheon of music’s finest artists, Del McCoury stands alone. McCoury’s music has defined authenticity for dedicated bluegrass fans, but he’s also served as a bridge between the original generation of bluegrass performers and today’s contemporary musicians. The Del McCoury Band is a peerless torchbearer for the entire sweep and scope of bluegrass history, appearing on primetime and late-night television talk shows, headlining sold-out concerts and music festivals of all genres, and garnering audiences numbering in the tens of thousands and admirers as diverse as country-rock icon Steve Earle and jam band royalty Phish. Del McCoury is a National Heritage Fellow (awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts), a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a member of the Bluegrass Hall of Fame, and winner of two Grammy awards and 31 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards.

In June, McCoury released his latest album, Songs of Love and Life.
